Play Now Act Now’s signature item must be originally and inventively included: tell us your story about drugs and alcohol.
ENTRY IS FREE and OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF NSW AGED 16 TO 25 ONLY.

Checklist:

Maximum length/size: Short Film: 2 minutes (including credits, not including Play Now Act Now sting)
Play Now Act Now logo/sting: At the end of the film the words (or sting) Play Now Act Now must appear. Download the logo here or the sting here.
Signature item: Entries must deal in some way with the issues and culture surrounding drugs and alcohol and your entry must be themed according to the month of entry (see entry guidelines).
Film still: Please include preferred still image from your film as jpeg, no less 640×480 pixels at 72dpi.
High-resolution: filmmakers and designers must retain an original high-resolution copy of their films and designs (300 dpi) for later reproduction on the Play Now Act Now DVD.

I, the Artist (director/designer/writer) attest to the accuracy of the information provided in this entry form and acknowledges full agreement to all regulations and conditions stated in this form. The Artist acknowledges that Play Now Act Now voting and the judges’ decision is final and agrees to abide. The Artist also agree not to enter into any correspondence with the judges. The Artist grants NSW Health and Metro Screen non exclusive Rights to exhibit and distribute the production by any means including but not limited to; theatrical screenings, internet, cable, satellite, printed, DVD, educational resource, microwave or by any medium not yet devised for purposes it sees appropriate. Exclusive Rights expire after a period of 24 months from competition close unless otherwise agreed by the parties. NSW Health and Metro Screen retain the right to exhibit the material indefinitely as a part of future PNAN related activities. The Artist warrants to NSW Health and Metro Screen Ltd that she/he/they have Clear Chain of Title and the Rights to enter the work in PNAN 2009. The artist further warrants that the work does not infringe Copyright Legislation or the Rights of any third party. This includes infringement of music copyright by short film entries. The Artist allows Metro Screen, PNAN Youth Arts Festival and NSW Health the right to link and display the work on any associated websites. NSW Health and Metro Screen Ltd reserve the Right to pursue further publishing Rights of screened and published work. The artist has read and acknowledges the terms on this form and the specific category entry guidelines found on www.playnowactnow.com.au and agree to be bound by them.
